This introductory exploration of the overlap of coaching and therapy is designed to reflect the ICF core competency "Meeting Ethical Guidelines and Professional Standards”. How do coaches a) clearly communicate the distinction between coaching and psychotherapy, b) identify how and when to refer a client to another support professional.
