Getting curious about Power, Privilege and Oppression in Coaching

    with co-facilitators:
Indy Batth, Louise Pitre, and Shannon Thompson

Why is this a hot topic and what does it have to do with me? The Association of Coach Training Organizations (ACTO) is taking a stand* in addressing power, privilege and oppression (PPO), and taking leadership throughout the coach education field.

We all have blind spots – this is how our brains function. Get a better understanding of how systems of injustice, including racism, play out in your own lives and in the lives of the people you serve. Find ways to consciously and heart-fully take steps toward developing a practice that truly delivers on the ICF core competency of establishing trust and safety with anyone.

    Come get curious with us!

    About the co-facilitators:

Indy Batth, Louise Pitre, and Shannon Thompson are coaches, facilitators and consultants that ground their work in love and justice. They work with individuals, organizations and leaders to understand power, privilege and oppression, and how to co-create a world where there is equitable access to power and resources.

They bring varied training (CTI, Royal Roads, ORCS, Neuroscience…) and different life experiences, but they share a mission to bring this conversation to the coaching community.
