Membership

What are the different levels of membership?

There are currently two levels of membership: Member and Guest. For details on each, please view our Membership-at-a-Glance page.


Do I have to be a member of ICF-I (International Coach Federation - International) in order to join this Chapter?

In order to become a Member, you do NOT have to be a member (in good standing) of our parent organization, the International Federation Federaration (ICF-I). However, while you will be entitled to most benefits, you will not be able ot vote or hold a position on the Board of Directors.

How do I register to become a member?

On the left-hand menubar, click on BECOME A MEMBER, and then JOIN ICF-GTA. You will then be presented with an online form and payment information. To register and pay off-line by cheque or credit card, please contact our office at accounting@gtacoaches.com or call 416.960.4791 x2.


How do I renew my membership?

To renew, login, then click on the VIEW PROFILE link in the top-right corner. Once you see your current member profile displayed, you should see a RENEW MEMBERSHIP button near the top right-hand corner of the page. Click on the button and follow the on-screen prompts to pay by PayPal. To pay off-line by cheque or credit card, please contact our office at accounting@gtacoaches.com or call 416.960.4791 x2.


Using the site

How do I change / update information in my member profile?

Login, then click on the VIEW PROFILE link in the top-right corner. Once you see your current member profile displayed, scroll down to the bottom of that page and click on the EDIT button. An editable form will appear. Make your changes, and then click on the PUBLISH button at the bottom of the form. Your new changes should now be "live".


How do I change my password?

Login, then click on the CHANGE PASSWORD link at the top-right corner. You will then be prompted to enter your current password, enter a new password, and then to confim your new password. Click on SAVE. You should then be taken to a new screen and see the message "Password changed successfully".

I am a member, but am not receiving member-pricing when I try to register for events?

Be sure you are login to the site before trying to register for events. Once you have done this (identifying yourself to the system as a current member in good standing) you should see the proper prices appear when you register.
