Coming to Toronto November 2017!

Intervention Mastery Skills: Presence and Strategic Use of Self

with Dorothy E. Siminovitch, PhD, MCC

Author of A Gestalt Coaching Primer: The Path Toward Awareness IQ

Personal and professional mastery means that we are aware of what we evoke and responsible for what we provoke. As coaches, we are tasked with being present in our presence and being able to leverage our presence in order to: be aware of who we are; act choicefully in the moment; strengthen our capacity to influence and to inspire others; and nurture our ability to effectively intervene across multiple levels of system relevant to the client. Skillful leveraging of presence requires excellent process management skills that invite awareness, choice, and innovation.

This workshop draws from Gestalt foundations. We offer a highly experiential, relational, and feedback-rich workshop that allows our participants to practice what they are learning in the observant, supportive company of equally committed peers and experienced Gestalt practitioners.

Participants will:

  • Strengthen awareness of their distinctive presence
  • Explore their impact and effectiveness as intervener at multiple levels of system
  • Identify their access to both intimacy and strategic action
  • Learn developmental strategies to increase personal and professional mastery
Program Dates:
November 28-30, 2017

Program Venue:

Adler, 890 Yonge Street, 9th Floor

Fees:
$1,700USD HST included ($75USD non-refundable registration fee)

Entrepreneurs Success Circles™

These online sessions will focus on you getting clear and confident in your value and your unique qualities as a coach that make you stand out and shine.

Pro athletes practice before they go to their big game day; most entrepreneurs practice on their potential clients and that needs to be changed.

There is a maximum of 6 entrepreneurs in each circle in order for you to get all your most pressing questions answered AND have time for role-playing and feedback.

Week 1 - Define your Ideal Target Market. What does your buyer's persona look like? If you cannot visualize and define your ideal dream client, then you do not know what to say and how to say it.

Week 2 - What is your opening intro. Answering 'so what do you do?' in a way that is engaging and encourages the response of 'tell me more'. Can you clearly and confidently state your value?

Week 3 - Building your Spectacular Clients' Results page aka "Brag Sheet"! How do you show your value and past results? How can you start collecting invaluable data to support your rates?

Week 4 - Prospecting to find your ideal dream clients. Putting together all that you've worked on for the previous three weeks, you're ready to show the ideal clients your skills and talents and get MORE business NOW!

PERSONAL BRAND POWER

We all know that our monthly meeting are a combination of business meeting, fellowship and networking. As gracious attendees we are mindful of not offending others. Some points to keep in mind:

1. Be on time or a little early. Read the agenda beforehand and know what to expect.

2. Be prepared and dress to impress. YOU only get one chance to make a positive, lasting impression.

3. SMALL TALK is REALLY BIG TALK. It helps build rapport with others. Have some interesting topics at hand – holidays, theatre, books, current events, etc.

4. Always talk to strangers – listening is #1 in making you a great conversationalist.

5. Participate without domineering the conversation. Think of it as a game of tennis – the ball goes over the net back and forth to your opponent and back to you.

6. Networking is all about meeting and greeting. The big word here – Circulate. The key is to spend 5 minutes with each person then move on without being rude.

7. The handshake is the only form of communication that is universally understood. It reveals a great deal about you. Keep it firm and friendly with lots of eye contact.

8. When seated, feet remain on the floor…legs are not crossed into another’s space or in the isle. It shows a lack of consideration for others.

9. Handbags, briefcases are placed under your chair not in the isle.

10. Be respectful of the speaker. Listen. Taking photos of the speaker’s slides is unacceptable and rude.

“Perception is Reality.”

“It’s the whole package that counts.”

To find out how you are being perceived, please contact me to book your Personal Brand Audit NOW!
